If your shots barely hurt a Walker, it has backdoor protection: until your troopers reach it, it takes 65% less damage from heroes and heals 65 health every second. Push it together with your trooper wave and the protection drops.
What backdoor protection does
Walkers, Base Guardians, Shrines and the Patron are protected whenever you attack them ahead of your lane. You can tell by the green ring around the structure. While it's up:
- Damage from heroes is cut by 65% (85% in Street Brawl). It only applies to heroes, not troopers.
- The structure regenerates 65 health per second (the Patron 75), undoing chip damage quickly.
How to turn it off
The protection stays up until your trooper wave reaches the structure. So take the structure with your troopers: clear the enemy wave, let yours walk up, then hit the Walker while they're there.
Bullet resist
- Walkers always have 35% bullet resist.
- Base Guardians have 40% bullet resist and Shrines 60% when no enemy heroes are near, and each enemy hero nearby lowers it by 20 points. Two heroes clear a Base Guardian's bullet resist, three a Shrine's.
For reference, a Walker starts with 6,000 health and a Base Guardian with 4,000.
What you earn for taking each objective is in how souls are split, and objectives also unlock flex slots.
