Deadlock questions
- How many heroes are in Deadlock?
- 44 heroes are playable right now, split into 14 mystics, 11 marksmen, 10 brawlers and 9 assassins.
- Is Deadlock free to play?
- Yes. Deadlock doesn't cost anything, but it is still an invite-only playtest on Steam, so you need an invite from a friend who already has it.
- How many items are in Deadlock?
- 156 items are in the shop, split between weapon, vitality and spirit categories, in four price tiers from 800 to 6,400 souls.
- Is Deadlock hard to learn?
- There's a lot going on, but the basics are simple: last-hit troopers for souls, spend them on items, and stay alive. Start with an easy hero like Graves, Haze and Infernus and read the beginner's guide.
